The barbers behind every cut at Frano’s; Abbotsford’s traditional barbershop, trained scissors-first.
By age 11, Rosario’s father Felicie was sweeping floors in a barbershop in Italy. By 13, he was holding the straight razor himself. His family’s path took them through England, France, and Germany before they landed in Canada, where he opened a shop in downtown Toronto’s financial district — the kind of place where clients waited, not because they had to, but because it was worth the wait.
Rosario didn’t just inherit the craft, he earned it. His father pushed him to learn the industry on his own first: a high-end salon, hair shows in New York, years building his own name before he ever stepped back into his father’s shop. When he finally did, he never looked back. Eighteen years working side by side, learning everything his father knew.
Rosario took that standard west and built Frano’s in Abbotsford himself. Every barber here carries it forward: scissors and clippers, any hair type, any length, any age.
Trained in Italy. Built in Canada.
Every barber on our Abbotsford team brings the same standard: skilled with scissors and clippers, comfortable with any hair type, and committed to making you feel better than when you walked in.
Fades, tight beards & styles for the younger crowd
“Fresh fades, no guesswork.”
Scissor cuts, trimmers, straight shaves & decades of old-world training.
“Craft over shortcuts. That’s the only way I learned it.”
Long hair, special needs clients & a steady hand.
“Everyone leaves smiling, that’s the whole point.”
He is the standard every cut at Frano’s is built on. Two generations of training behind every cut he gives.
Has a real gift for long hair, special needs clients and smiling the entire time.
Great with fades that bring in the younger crowd and an eye for beard work most people miss.
Every visit at Frano’s is built on four things.
We’re building a team around one standard — everyone leaves feeling better than when they walked in. If you’re a skilled barber who takes pride in your craft and wants to be part of something worth showing up for, we’d love to meet you.
